What’s a crazy story that you can tell us about one of your recruitment assignments?
I once had a client go ‘rogue’ in an interview offering my candidate the job on the spot . Yes she was a perfect candidate, but he said she could start in three months time as she wanted to give her current employer time to replace her. Hers was a position that was not easy to replace, so I spent the whole three months staying close to her and making sure she did not lose interest in the role. Sure enough, she started her new role on the agreed date and she is still very happy there today …. Phew!
