Assetinsure is an Australian company providing and supporting insurance, Bonds and credit enhancement solutions, as well as a variety of general insurance products covering construction, owner builders, freight and more.
The Challenge
Assetinsure contacted Employee Matters for assistance with performance reviews. As a result of completing an Employee Metrics diagnostic analysis, they recognised that they needed help with a wide range of HR issues, including their employment contracts, salary benchmarking, incentive plans and change management.
The Solution
Employee Matters began by delivering Employee Metrics, a diagnostic tool that helped Assetinsure validate existing good practices, identify gaps and create an HR Roadmap for addressing urgent issues while working towards a best-practice future state. The HR Roadmap was delivered by embedding an Employee Expert who concentrated on understanding and improving Assetinsure’s employee culture, engagement and performance.
Employee Matters also provided end-to-end recruitment services by way of the Recruitment Partner Service (RPS), embedding a dedicated Recruitment Expert into the business. The Expert’s initial priority was gaining a strong grasp of Assetinsure’s roles, culture and projected workforce needs. From reviewing resumes to offer letters and designing more effective onboarding processes, the Recruitment Expert saved Assetinsure significant time and costs by hiring the right candidates faster. Employee Matters also helped ensure probation follow-ups, holding line managers accountable for consistent onboarding processes.
The Results
Working with Employee Matters allowed Assetinsure’s CEO and senior leadership team to focus on strategy rather than day-to-day operations, while lowering cost-to-hire and boosting their Employee ROI.
