Recently a client of ours, in his excitement and against our instructions, offered a job to the candidate during the actual interview. The offer was based on little more than ‘gut feel’ and he didn’t complete any reference checks. Guess what happened ? The candidate showed up for work, and was a complete disaster, he was out the door within the week.
